OVO DE PÁSCOA
O ovo de chocolate ou ovos de Páscoa são uma tradição milenar relacionada ao cristianismo. Costumava-se pintar um ovo oco de galinha de cores bem alegres, pois a Páscoa é uma data festiva que comemora a ressurreição de Jesus Cristo, sendo o ovo um símbolo de nascimento. Outros povos como os gregos e os egípcios também coloriam ovos de galinha oco, porém em datas diferentes.
O ovo é símbolo bastante antigo, anterior ao Cristianismo, que representa a fertilidade e a renascimento da vida. Muitos séculos antes do nascimento de Cristo, a troca de ovos no Equinócio da Primavera (21 de Março) era um costume que celebrava o fim do Inverno e o início de uma estação marcada pelo florescimento da natureza. Para obterem uma boa colheita, os agricultores enterravam ovos nas terras de cultivo.
RECEITA OVO DE PASCOA CROCANTE
Ingredientes
Para o crocante:

- 1 xícara de açúcar cristal
- 1 colher (sopa) de manteiga
- Para o ovo de chocolate:
- 250 g de chocolate meio amargo
- 250 g de chocolate ao leite
Modo de preparo
- Preparação 10 minutos, Cozimento 20 minutos, Tempo adicional de 2 horas, esfriando
- Faça o crocante: Derreta o açúcar e cozinhe em fogo baixo até escurecer (ponto de caramelo).
- Quando o açúcar virar caramelo, junte a manteiga e mexa rapidamente. Despeje o caramelo sobre uma superfície de mármore untada e deixe secar. Depois de seco, quebre em pedaços grandes e transfira os pedaços para uma saco plástico Use um martelo de carne para quebrar em pedaços. Depois reserve
- Faça o ovo: Derreta os dois tipos de chocolate em banho-maria mexendo para derreter por igual. Deixe o chocolate esfriar sem endurecer e junte o caramelo moído. Misture bem com uma colher de pau.

- Quando você fizer a última camada, apare as bordas com uma faca e leve à geladeira de cabeça para baixo por 1 hora. Desenforme da mesma maneira como se desenforma cubos de gelo.
